"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Cutting right to the case..
I am very suspicious about your art... As I stumbled upon this site: [link] a year or two back, I have been peeking by every now and then to look on the fantastic drawings. You could call me a fan. I see some of them in your gallery, but I also see drawings of far less quality, and without the same style. Also I just get this feeling from you that you're not the person who drew all those... So.. What do you have to say to your defence?
Ah. Lovely question, and this is what I have to reply:
I have been posting up pictures that I've done a while back. I've made a few changes in the pictures, maybe if you would notice.
Soon I'll post up new artwork that I didn't post up here since now I only use that for uploading unfinished art.
The site you linked are some of the uploaded art I've started or finished and some that I need to get around to finishing, so I'll be posting some of the finished/fixed art here and some traditional art that I haven't posted on the web.
I figured that using dA would give me a better opportunity to get my artwork noticed and have a chance to sell my artwork also.
About the different styles of art:
I stick to the same techniques most of the time, but sometimes I try to change my style. Most of them aren't too great, like the two of my self-portraits, but I try to change once in a while. Perhaps I took a risk of being suspicious, but changes in artwork is appreciated by some and not for others. I was going towards the "Gorillaz" style, and using non-digital media was something that I should never do again. But now I know I'm better off sticking to one style, right?

I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I knew sooner or later someone would pose this question, and perhaps after all the confusion, you'll stick around to see new art I'll be posting up.
Ah. Well, if it really is you who is this "saka" too, I will apologize. But not yet. Because I'm still unsure about this whole thing.. First. At the other site you've uploaded tons and tons of stuff. How come you've only uploaded 30pcs here? Also.. old stuff even. Not new.
The Self portraits you've used an other style for are not ugly. Actually they're not bad at all. But they do not display the same level of insight in anatomy or colour-blending. I find it difficult to believe that much of a change just in that you changed your style for a bit.
If you can either upload something here with the same quality as the art on the other site, or upload a note to me or whatever on the other site, I will believe you. Heck, I'll fave all your work even.
I hate giving people a hard time, so I am sorry for doing that. Really. Regardless of how it all turns out

As for the pics I've uploaded on here, I did some minor fixes on the original and posted them on here, so that the old and revised versions won't confuse me and/or people who happen to see my uploaded pictures.
As for this whole thing that's going on, I respect your opinion on all this and after I upload a picture, I hope this whole thing would be clear to you and to all who's been watching/faving my art.
But bear in mind that I don't have much spare time on weekdays, so the art will take about a day or two for me to upload.
